- I am Emeritus Professor of English at Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois. I began teaching literature at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana, taught during the '60s at Bethel College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and joined the English Department at Wheaton College in 1970.
